An extraordinary and highly uncommon find for the serious art glass collector. This is a matching studio set of six (6) premium, heavy-bottom crystal lowball tumblers created by the renowned Glasstudio Borowski.

While the studio is globally celebrated today for its vibrant, multi-colored glass sculptures, these clear, deeply engraved masterworks represent their elite traditional gravur (engraving) roots pioneered by founder Stanislaw Borowski. Each glass features a unique, masterfully executed modernist/surrealist animal motif in a frosted, deep relief cameo-style etching.

The designs include striking, stylized interpretations of a roaring lion, a bull, and a ram, displaying incredible muscle definition and texture. The craftsmanship is anchored by an exceptionally heavy, thick sham base featuring Borowski's signature centered controlled bubble suspended perfectly above a polished, inset pedestal stem. Markings: Each glass features the authentic diamond-point etched script signature "Borowski" on the lower outer edge of the base. This set is in beautiful, excellent vintage studio condition. The crystal exhibits brilliant clarity with no chips, cracks, or deep scratches. Because these are individually hand-blown and hand-engraved art glass pieces, slight organic variations in thickness, weight, and the exact placement of the internal bubble are natural hallmarks of their authentic, artisan production.
