Vintage CULVER Whiskey Bourbon Scotch Double Old Fashioned Glasses Cocktail Glasses. Designed by Culver in the 1950s, this set has beautiful raised 22 KT gold and green swirl designs. These glasses hold 10 oz, perfect for cocktails, whiskey, bourbon, or beverages. A fabulous and rare find of mid century barware by Culver. A perfect set for your home bar or bar cart!
Excellent condition with no chips. The gold designs are in excellent condition with no wear. These glasses are signed in script, Culver, therefore dating to 1950.
Measurements: 4 1/8" Tall x 4" Wide, holds 10 oz. I have matching highballs (see last picture) and roly polys, see other listings. Culver Glass Company - Lavish and Opulent Cocktail-ware from the 1940's. In the late 1950s, Culver Ltd started the application of the 22-karat gold to their glassware. The super-heated, roll-on process of gold remains a secret today. Culver glass from the 1940s through the 50s are signed with a script Culver.The Culver mark changed to block lettering in the late 1960s through the 1970s. Culver glass after the 1970s are typically unmarked today because the company changed to paper labels attached to the glass. Many of these labels have disappeared from use.
